Build Your Sewing Skills While Connecting With Others
On select Wednesdays each month, the Artisans’ Guild Gallery of Caboolture becomes a space where creativity and connection come together through the Sewing Sisters group.
This welcoming group is built around a shared love of sewing, offering a relaxed and supportive environment where participants can build skills while enjoying the social side of creating. Open to all experience levels, it provides a space for both beginners and more experienced sewists to work at their own pace.
Rather than formal instruction, sessions are centred around individuals working on their own projects. This allows members to focus on what they want to create while benefiting from the shared knowledge and encouragement of the group. Practical skills are developed naturally through conversation, observation, and hands-on experience.
Sewing Sisters places equal value on learning and connection. Alongside developing techniques, participants enjoy the opportunity to meet like-minded people, share ideas, and be part of a friendly and inclusive community.
Members are encouraged to bring their own materials, with a small selection of supplies available at the Gallery if needed. This flexible approach makes it easy to join in, regardless of experience level or project type.
Meeting on the first, fourth and fifth Wednesdays of the month, Sewing Sisters offers a consistent and welcoming space where creativity can grow and confidence can build over time.
More than just a sewing group, it’s a place to learn, connect, and enjoy the process of making together.
